Labor Day protests take place across the Bay Area

Many people are spending this Labor Day fighting for workers’ rights.

A number of large protests are expected Monday in several parts of the Bay Area. Here are some of the rallies happening:

  • San Francisco: 9:30 a.m., Philip Burton Federal Building
  • San Francisco: 11 a.m., Mission BART to Dolores Park
  • Santa Clara to Redwood City: 11 a.m., El Camino Real (map below)
  • Walnut Creek: 11:30 a.m., Liberty Bell Plaza
  • Oakland: Noon, Frank Ogawa Plaza
