Pedestrian injured in intentional hit-and-run in Oakland, police say

(KRON) — A pedestrian suffered critical injuries in Oakland last week after they were intentionally struck by a vehicle, police said Tuesday.

The collision occurred on Friday just after 7 p.m. in the area of First Avenue and International Boulevard. Investigators said the pedestrian was involved in an argument before being hit by the vehicle, and that the crash appeared to be intentional.

The pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital. They were last listed in critical but stable condition, authorities said Tuesday.
