Early this morning, the Richmond Police Department responded to a shooting incident near the parking lot of Richmond Flats Apartments on Cart Road. An individual was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was quickly transported to Reid Health and subsequently airlifted to a facility providing higher-level care, as per the Richmond Police Department post. As of the time of transport, the victim was listed in stable condition.
In the wake of the violence, it has been noted that more than 50 people were presumed to be present when the incident occurred, yet no witnesses have come forward. The Richmond PD has made an appeal to the public for anyone with details regarding the shooting to come forward and provide information.
