Ousted owner of trendy Oakland wine shop arrested after allegedly attempting to meet with teen girl

An Oakland man was arrested after allegedly arranging to meet with a person he believed was a 13-year-old girl in Placer County, authorities said.

Cameron Hoppas, 39, was arrested by detectives from Placer County Sheriff’s Office on July 30 after arranging to meet with who he thought was a teenager, the sheriff’s office said.
