San Francisco man arrested in Yuba City for burglary charges

YUBA CITY, Calif. – The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Tuesday after responding to reports of suspicious activity in Happy Park.

According to the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found 45-year-old Michael Hesse of San Francisco, who was allegedly canvassing the neighborhood while wearing a face mask. Upon contact, deputies noticed what looked like a concealed weapon under Hesse’s shirt.

A pat-down search revealed a fixed-blade dirk or dagger and a pellet gun. Additional items found in Hesse’s possession included gloves, a face mask, a wig, a hammer, multiple flashlights and identification not belonging to him…
