San Rafael Sting Operation Nets Three Arrests, Drugs, and Ghost Gun in Marin County Crackdown

Authorities in Marin County have cracked down on a home in San Rafael tied to narcotic sales, resulting in three arrests and the seizure of drugs and a ghost gun, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office revealed in a statement on social media. In a detailed post found on Facebook, it was reported that detectives from the Marin County Specialized Investigative Unit (SIU), via ongoing surveillance, identified suspicious activity indicative of drug trafficking at a residence located on Lisbon Street.

The covert operation unfolded over several weeks, after which detectives obtained a search warrant for the property and its occupants. Last Thursday, SIU detectives, together with the San Rafael Police Department, carried out the warrant and discovered around 2 ounces of what they suspected was methamphetamine ready for sale and an unserialized 9mm pistol, the type often referred to as a ghost gun because it lacks traceable serial numbers…
