Despite being agnostic, and just worshipping in my own small way, today I can say I am PROUD of the Catholic faith, to have come SO far in such a short span of time.
I remember, as a Protestant growing up, our pastor ranting and raving against the heresy and immoral acts of gays. I think that was a huge part of why I stopped my “organized” faith, and became a church unto myself.
I have had many friends, in my life, and very few have been kinder or nicer to me than my LGBTQ+ friends. Let me tell you a story……
