San Francisco police have arrested a man suspected of the fatal stabbing of a father with his child in a crosswalk near Commodore Sloat Elementary School earlier this week, Mayor Daniel Lurie announced Friday.
“A tragic, horrific incident occurred during school pickup. A father lost his life,” Lurie said during a press conference at San Francisco Police Department headquarters. “Today, I can share that San Francisco police has apprehended a suspect and that individual is now in custody.”
