(KRON) — Colma police said an armed San Francisco man had an interesting answer for officers as to why he was allegedly trying to break into vehicles at a Tesla dealership Monday.

Police said officers responded to Tesla, located at 150 Collins Ave., at 10:07 p.m. nd spotted the suspect walking away from a parked vehicle.
The man, identified as Alecs Wardlow, 32, was handcuffed and detained without incident, according to police.
“The male admitted to officers he had been trying to gain access to the vehicles so he could sit inside,” said police in a social media post. “A search of the male revealed he had a concealed dirk/dagger in the front pocket of his sweatshirt.”
Wardlow was booked into the San Mateo County Jail where he faces charges, including burglary and being in possession of a “dirk/dagger.”…
