A shooting near the front door of San Francisco’s Main Library sent one person to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The shots rang out by the library doors facing City Hall around 4:50 p.m., triggering shelter-in-place orders for staff inside, San Francisco Police Department Captain Matt Sullivan told the Chronicle. Police have detained a suspect in connection with the shooting, Sullivan said.
