East Bay police arrest four robbery suspects after pursuit in two cities

Fremont police say they arrested four suspects in a robbery outside a local bank after pursuing them to San Leandro.

Officers responded to the robbery of a pedestrian on the 46000 block of Mission Boulevard at 12:34 p.m. Friday, and the victim provided a description of the getaway vehicle, according to the Fremont Police Department.

The officers located the vehicle using automatic license plate readers, but the driver failed to stop, police said. Officers then trailed the vehicle from northbound Interstate 880 into San Leandro, where the car stopped and the four occupants tried to flee, Fremont police said…
