4 family members, including 2 children, found dead in San Francisco’s Westwood Highlands

A man who went to check on the well being of his brother and brother’s family found them all dead at their home in San Francisco’s quiet Westwood Highlands neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon, according to police and information reviewed by the Chronicle.

The man called authorities for help at 1:23 p.m. after finding the bodies of his brother, sister-in-law and their two children at the house on the 900 block of Monterey Boulevard. He had done a welfare check on the family after not hearing from them, according to the police alert.

Homicide inspectors are investigating the case but police would not say how the family died…
