Woman injured during ‘heavy fire’ in S.F.’s Outer Sunset

A woman was injured after a fire broke out Sunday morning in a residential garage in the Outer Sunset, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the 1600 block of 42nd Avenue after a 911 call around 6 a.m., arriving at a “heavy fire” on the two-story building’s first floor, according to reports posted on the public safety app, Citizen.

Firefighters requested forcible entry to access the building’s garage and found a victim in the backyard suffering from smoke inhalation, according to Citizen reports…
