Suspected Halloween decoration thieves arrested in El Cerrito

(KRON) — We’ve all heard of the Grinch who stole Christmas and now apparently, some thieves in the East Bay were caught snatching skeletons before Halloween. That’s according to the El Cerrito Police Department which announced it had arrested four people Tuesday night for stealing a “large quantity of Halloween decorations.”

The decorations, which were mostly skeletons according to police, were stolen from the front yards of houses in El Cerrito. The four suspects were placed under citizens arrest, booked at the El Cerrito Police Department, and later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

El Cerrito PD said that if you, or anyone you know, had Halloween decorations stolen from El Cerrito last night, police might have the items. El Cerrito PD is looking to get the items back to their rightful owners.
