A San Francisco man was arrested Sunday after a Palo Alto homeowner returned to find him sitting at his kitchen table drinking his wine, police said. Palo Alto police responded to reports of a burglary on the 2600 block of Bryant Street at about 12:23 p.m. Sunday. Police said the suspect had already left the home after the resident, a man in his 70s, told him to leave. The homeowner told police he had left earlier that morning and came home to find his house ransacked and a man drinking his wine.Officers searched the neighborhood and found the intruder nearby, detaining him without incident.
