(KRON) — Two Oakland residents were taken into custody after allegedly stealing a grey Dodge Challenger last month and using it in an armed carjacking just a short while later. Police said the pair is tied to multiple armed robberies across several Bay Area cities.
Woman arrested after firing gunshot towards victim in San Francisco
The Walnut Creek Police Department said a victim alerted them at 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 20 that his work vehicle had just been stolen.
“A short time later, an armed carjacking was reported at 1805 Ygnacio Valley Blvd with the same vehicle and suspect description,” said Walnut Creek police in a social media post. “It was quickly learned that these suspects had committed three additional armed robberies in the City of Pittsburg, the City of Antioch, and the City of El Sobrante.”
