‘San Francisco Witch Killer’ denied parole

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A Bay Area serial killer who helped her husband murder victims in Sonoma, San Francisco, and Humboldt counties in the 1980s was denied parole on Thursday.

A California parole board denied granting prison inmate Suzan Carson freedom because she still poses an unreasonable risk of danger to the public, prosecutors said.

Carson and her husband, Michael Carson, were dubbed the “San Francisco witch killers.” The married couple was convicted of committing three separate murders during a drug-fueled quest to rid the world of witches…
