Two Suspects Arrested After Reported Carjacking and Armed Robbery Spree That Ended in Walnut Creek

Walnut Creek police say a pair of Oakland residents are facing a long list of felony charges after an armed crime spree that began with a stolen work truck and ended with an arrest across from Trader Joe’s.

According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, the incident started on October 20, 2025 at about 2:20 pm, when a victim called dispatch to report that his work vehicle had just been stolen. The suspects were described as driving a gray Dodge Challenger.

A short time later, officers received a report of an armed carjacking at 1805 Ygnacio Valley Blvd, involving the same vehicle and matching suspect descriptions. At that point, no one had been taken into custody.

Investigators soon learned that the same suspects were believed to be responsible for three additional armed robberies in other East Bay cities: Pittsburg, Antioch and El Sobrante…
