Two shot, one fatally, in S.F.’s Mission District — suspect arrested

San Francisco police arrested a 23-year-old man after two people were shot, one fatally, in San Francisco’s Mission District early Sunday.

Officers responded to an altercation that resulted in a shooting at 16th and Mission streets around 12:25 a.m. Sunday and found two victims on the ground, according to the San Francisco Police Department. The officers located a firearm at the scene, police said.

After paramedics rendered aid, the two were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. One victim was declared dead at the hospital, police said…
