6-month-old’s death in S.F. hospital ruled a homicide

The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s office ruled the death of an infant this month as a homicide, San Francisco police officials said.

In a Police Commission meeting last week, Interim Police Chief Paul Yep said that a 6-month-old who was found unresponsive in September succumbed to their injuries in early November. The medical examiner has ruled the child’s death a homicide, he said.

Yep did not provide any more details about the incident, including whether or not police officials had made any arrests…
