SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) is asking for the public’s help to identify a man who was found deceased in front of 131 10th Street.
Officials described the man as approximately 30 years old, white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighed 150 pounds. He had red hair, blue eyes, and “distinctive facial freckles,” OCME wrote.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene on 10th Street, between Howard Street and Mission Street. “The cause and manner of the death are pending,” officials wrote.

“The OCME uses extensive investigatory methods to identify decedents. In an overwhelming majority of cases, the OCME makes a positive identification of the subject within 24 hours,” officials wrote.
