Two injured, multiple cars mangled after high-speed S.F. Marina District crash

Two people were hospitalized Tuesday after a speeding driver crashed into a hotel in San Francisco’s Marina District neighborhood, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the crash crash at Broderick and Lombard streets at 6:22 a.m., Lt. Mariano Elias said. A driver traveling up to 75 miles per hour on Lombard Street sped through a gas station, jumping over two parked vehicles and crashing into a hotel at the corner of the intersection, Elias said.

Two people, including the driver and a hotel guest, were hospitalized for minor injuries, officials said. There were no passengers in the parked vehicles…
