A 56-year-old man wanted in connection with a killing Saturday in Cloverdale who is considered to be “armed and dangerous” has been located, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Sunday morning.
Detectives had identified Cloverdale resident Lawrence Cassidy as a suspect in the homicide, which occurred at 4:47 p.m. Saturday on the 300 block of Cloverdale Heights Way, but did not disclose additional details on the incident or investigation.
The sheriff’s office said in an updated statement posted to social media at 9 a.m. that Cassidy was found in Santa Rosa, and that it would be releasing additional information.
