(KRON) — The Thanksgiving Day earthquakes continue in the greater Bay Area.
A 4.0-magnitude earthquake shook northeast of Salinas 12:57 p.m., according to the USGS. The shaking could be felt throughout the Bay Area.
Minutes earlier, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake hit at the same location. An initial 2.7-magnitude earthquake happened in the area at 12:10 p.m.
