A 40-year-old former San Francisco city official pleaded guilty Thursday to embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars in city funds and participating in another former city employee’s fraud scheme.
Stanley Ellicott, former assistant director of finance and technology for the workers’ compensation division of the city’s Human Resources Department, faces three years in state prison.
