South San Francisco police shoot man who allegedly charged at officers during 911 call

A man was shot and critically wounded early Monday after police say he charged at officers with a raised knife during a disturbance call on a South San Francisco cul-de-sac.

Officers were called to the 900 block of Sandra Court just after 5 a.m. for reports of a man armed with a knife and making suicidal statements, according to police.
