An Oakland man was killed Friday night in a shooting in a residential area of East Oakland, police said.
Officers responded around 11:45 p.m. that night to a ShotSpotter alert on the 2700 block of EC Reems Court, a street lined with several apartment complexes near the Eastmont neighborhood, according to the Oakland Police Department.
