Dozens of protesters have been arrested after chaining themselves to the ICE headquarters building in San Francisco. Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity, which organized the protest, says 42 people were arrested by federal agents on Tuesday. Demonstrators also blocked three entrances to the building, while others swayed together, sang songs, played music, held signs and painted murals. Demonstrators were arrested after ignoring dispersal orders. San Francisco firefighters had to use heavy-duty wire cutters to remove the chains, before federal agents started taking people into custody.
