(KRON) — A man from Suisun City is in the hospital recovering from serious injuries suffered in a surfing accident in Pacifica on Dec. 10, according to a GoFundMe page created to support his recovery.
The man, only identified as “Josh,” was hit in the head by his board during the accident, cracking his skull. He has since suffered a stroke and is partially paralyzed on his left side, according to the GoFundMe page.
“He is alive right now because of his determination to get back to shore, the kindness of the strangers who pulled him from the water, the skill of emergency personnel and doctors who have been working so hard to help him and the grace of God,” the GoFundMe page reads.
