SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police are thanking their Honda Unit investigators for making a large narcotics bust in which officers recovered 193.5 grams of suspected MDMA/Ecstasy pills with a total street value of $1,500.

The months-long investigation began this past August when investigators began tracking 49-year-old Haleem Williams after he allegedly sold suspected MDMA/Ecstasy pills during a Golden Gate Park music festival, according to police.
On three separate occasions in December, police said Honda Unit members arranged buy-bust operations where Williams was captured by investigators selling narcotics. On Dec. 18, Williams was taken into custody in the intersection of Mint and Mission streets.
Police said, during the arrest, officers seized a backpack with the aforementioned suspected narcotics along with a loaded ghost gun while searching Williams’ vehicle for additional narcotics.
“The SFPD will not tolerate anyone who sells drugs in our city,” SFPD Police Chief Derrick Lew said in a news release Tuesday. “I want to thank our Honda Unit for their diligent efforts in holding criminals accountable and preventing more drugs from flowing into San Francisco to harm our communities.”…
