Police are looking for a man suspected of causing $2,000 in damage and attacking a customer at a longtime Bay Area bakery this month.
Peter’s Bakery on Alum Rock Avenue in San Jose posted to social media security camera video showing a man who came in trying to sell a pack of cleaning wipes on the afternoon of Dec. 17. After staff “politely asked for his contact information,” he started shoving equipment off the front counter, the video states.
“He became belligerent, yelling at staff, scaring patrons,” the video states. The San Jose Police Department confirmed that he “verbally confronted” employees and “damaged multiple pieces of equipment.”…
