SF brunch restaurant known for ‘Millionaire’s Bacon’ closing after 12 years

(KRON) — A San Francisco brunch staple is closing its doors this weekend after 12 years in business.

Kitchen Story, at 3499 16th St. in the Mission District, will be closing on Sunday, Jan. 4, the restaurant announced in a social media post on Thursday.

The restaurant is known for its brunch menu and trademarked thick-cut “Millionaire’s Bacon,” which it serves in single strips and in flights alongside other bacon.

“We are deeply grateful to our guests who have supported, shared their mornings with us, and made this restaurant a part of their lives over the years,” Kitchen Story wrote in its goodbye on social media…
