Two men were killed in separate shootings in Oakland Thursday, authorities said.
The first shooting happened just after 11 a.m. on the 2700 block of E. 20th Street in East Oakland, according to the Oakland Police Department. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation and found a Berkeley man with gunshot wounds, police said.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. His identity was being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said. No arrests have been announced…
