SAN RAMON, CALIFORNIA – A police officer was injured in San Ramon in late December in a ramming incident tied to a car burglary bust.
According to police accounts reported by multiple outlets, detectives were conducting surveillance around 11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, after receiving information that suspects connected to vehicle burglaries and stolen vehicles would likely return to an area near Ivy Hill Road/Ivy Hill Way in San Ramon.
