A driver was killed and his passenger suffered major injuries in a collision that closed part of Interstate 80 in Vallejo for almost two hours Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, which occurred east of Redwood Parkway at 7:43 a.m., closed westbound lanes of I-80 until about 9:30 a.m., CHP spokesperson Michael Barday told the Chronicle.
