(KRON) — A person was rescued from the frigid San Francisco Bay water near the Embarcadero this morning.
Rescuers with the San Francisco Fire Department and San Francisco Police Department responded to a call for an adult clinging to a rope in the water at Pier 9 around 8:30 a.m.

“Firefighters arrived on the scene quickly and successfully rescued the individual,” SFFD said.
The person was treated by paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries.
