Dolores Deluxe, a corner store in the Mission in a century-old building, continues to reinvent itself.
The operation began in 2022 as a bottle shop that also sold artisan jams, bread and Doritos; my colleague Elena Kadvany named it her “dream bodega” for its selection of goods ranging from local pastries to house-made dips and wonderfully weird sourdough. In 2024, it launched its most substantial upgrade yet: sandwiches.
