A 19-year old woman was identified as the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a driver in San Rafael on Wednesday morning, officials from the Marin County Coroner’s office said Thursday.
Lucia Jennifer Blandina Sontay Vicente, of San Rafael, was struck just after 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Point Pedro Road and Summit Avenue, officials said.
Sontay Vicente was found unresponsive and unconscious in the roadway, having sustained multiple traumatic injuries after being struck, officials said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not immediately clear if the driver stayed at the scene…
