Several people arrested and assault rifle seized after sideshow in S.F.’s Outer Richmond, police say

San Francisco police arrested several people and seized an assault rifle after responding to a sideshow in the Outer Richmond neighborhood over the weekend, authorities said.

Officers responded to reports of an illegal sideshow near Clement Street and 32nd Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Sunday, police said. There were several vehicles driving recklessly while onlookers and other cars blocked the intersection, police said. As officers dispersed the area, authorities spotted a vehicle wanted by the Oakland Police Department suspected of being involved in stunt driving, officials said.

Officers initiated a traffic stop near Clement Street and 41st Avenue and detained four occupants, police said. An assault rifle, an extended magazine and ammunition were seized from the vehicle, police said…
