Olivia Wilde protests ICE at Sundance premiere of San Francisco film

PARK CITY, UTAH — Olivia Wilde has had a busy few days at Sundance Film Festival, but the magnitude of ICE’s recent violence against civilians in Minnesota hasn’t been lost on her.

Wilde has multiple films at the festival. Friday night saw the premiere of “I Want Your Sex,” a raunchy comedy from cult director Gregg Araki in which Wilde plays a sex-crazed artist who preys on her younger assistant. On Saturday night, she premiered “The Invite,” a film that she directed, which co-stars Seth Rogan and Edward Norton. The movie was shot in San Francisco in May 2025 at locations ranging from Molinari Delicatessen to Make-Out Room. It takes place primarily in a San Francisco apartment.

Prior to the premiere of “The Invite,” hours after the killing of Alex Pretti by a U.S. Border Patrol agent, Wilde walked the red carpet wearing a pin declaring “ICE OUT.” She expressed her outrage to the Associated Press in a short video interview…
