SF power outage impacting thousands of customers

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A power outage on Monday afternoon was impacting thousands of customers in San Francisco. The outage started at around 1:20 p.m. and is affecting 3,055 customers, according to PG&E.

The utility said it is on-site and working to restore power “safely and as quickly as possible.”

Monday’s outage is the latest in a string of PG&E outages to have hit San Francisco. Most notably, a major outage following a substation fire just before the holidays left many residents without power for days.
