36-Year-Old Brisbane Electrician Arrested for Stabbing in South San Francisco; Police Seek Witnesses

In a late-night incident, the South San Francisco Police Department responded to a call last Saturday, regarding a stabbing that occurred in the 300 block of Grand Avenue. Officers found a male victim with a stab wound to his back, who was promptly given medical aid by the South San Francisco Fire Department personnel and transported to a local trauma center; the injury was deemed non-life-threatening, as confirmed by the South San Francisco Police Department.

The suspect had fled; however, detectives engaged in an exhaustive investigation that led to the identification of 36-year-old Morgan Hallquist, an electrician from Brisbane, as the person responsible for the attack. This breakthrough came to light through detailed detective work, and the suspect eluded capture immediately after the stabbing, but law enforcement’s relentless pursuit paid off eventually. Yesterday, Hallquist was located and apprehended in Brisbane, where the police also discovered additional evidence related to the crime.
