One person died in a rollover crash that followed a police chase in San Leandro late Saturday, authorities said.
Around 11:17 p.m., a white Infiniti Fx35 took a turn at “a high rate of speed,” the California Highway Patrol told the Chronicle, and crashed into two parked cars before overturning. The passenger was declared dead at the scene, police said, and the driver was transported to a hospital in critical condition. The driver’s condition was unknown Sunday morning.
