Federal prosecutors asked a judge Tuesday to revoke the bond of a once-wealthy San Francisco real estate investor after his arrest last month for allegedly threatening to shoot people near a fence he erected that blocks public access to Thornton State Beach in Daly City.
The investor, Luke Brugnara, has recently been embroiled in battles over the fence he put up across several parcels of land, even though he does not own all of them.
Brugnara, known as “Lucky Luke,” has been out on bond while he awaits trial for his alleged role in a pandemic relief-related fraud scheme, according to filings by prosecutors at the U.S. District Court in San Francisco.
