Juvenile raccoon rescued after falling down SF roof’s lightwell

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A juvenile raccoon was rescued by a San Francisco Animal Care and Control (SFACC) officer after it fell down a city roof’s lightwell, according to the agency.

SFACC said the officer used “a very long handled net” to remove the furry critter and set it free.

“Once back on the ground, the raccoon scurried off uninjured into the tree,” said SFACC in a social media post on Thursday…
