SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — One of San Francisco’s most popular bakeries is opening its second location. You have probably seen it in person or on social media. Butter & Crumble in North Beach constantly garners huge lines, especially on weekend mornings.
The bakery, located at 271 Francisco St., is opening another spot at 301 Union St., according to Butter & Crumble’s recent Instagram post. It is scheduled to open this summer.
“I can’t believe it’s finally official,” owner Sophie Smith wrote in the post. “The Cake Shop by Butter & Crumble is coming to 301 Union Street this Summer 2026.
