“According to court documents, Mr. Moore allegedly dropped off a woman at a hotel near Union Square on Feb. 7, 2026, to meet a person to engage in sex work,” the DA’s office said. “The person contacted the woman via an escort listing on the internet for sexual services. Several text messages between the woman and Mr. Moore allegedly show a discussion of where she should send Mr. Moore the money and several demands from Mr. Moore for immediate responses from the woman to his messages.”
Prosecutors will ask to have Moore detained without bail “because of the public safety risk he poses,” the DA’s office said.
