Yesterday morning turned deadly in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood, where police say a man was found shot on the 100 block of Turk Street shortly before 9 a.m. First responders pronounced the adult male dead at the scene, and officers detained a person of interest while homicide investigators took over the case.

In a post on X, the San Francisco Police Department said officers responded to reports of gunfire on the 100 block of Turk Street and found an adult male suffering an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
