Longtime Burger King on Fillmore to be replaced by popular SF-founded burger chain

(KRON) — The longtime Burger King on Fillmore Street in San Francisco is now closed. The national fast food chain giant is being replaced by a smaller, but more local chain.

San Francisco-based Super Duper Burger is opening at 1701 Fillmore St. this summer, a company representative told KRON4. It takes over the space on the corner of Post and Fillmore, next to the AMC Kabuki.

With the Fillmore Street opening, Super Duper would have its ninth location in San Francisco…
