(KRON) — Four Oakland men connected to an armed bank robbery were taken into custody Sunday on the Bay Bridge, according to the Oakland Police Department.
Car ‘packed full of tires’ leads to felony theft arrests, Healdsburg police say
OPD said the armed robbery occurred just after 2:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Park Boulevard. Police said three suspects walked in, made demands at gunpoint, then fled the area in a waiting vehicle.
“The suspects traveled to East Oakland, where they switched to a vehicle driven by a fourth individual,” police said in a social media post on Tuesday. “OPD patrol officers tracked the vehicle through Oakland and onto the Bay Bridge. With assistance from CHP and the San Francisco Police Department, officers conducted a high-risk stop and arrested four Oakland men in connection with the robbery.”
Despite the arrests, this remains an active case. Anyone with information is strongly encouraged to contact OPD’s Felony Assault Unit at (510) 238-3426. Those with videos or photos that could aid the investigation can submit them to [email protected]…
